  • The City of Anaheim (COA) and JMh / Love Anaheim made it known to churches in Anaheim of the need for shared space to develop the Anaheim Inclement Weather Shelter Network. Three congregations have said yes. JMh / Love Anaheim, with an accelerated timeline, purchased supplies and has readied one church site for activations with another site ready and on standby if the space is needed.  Better Way Anaheim (BWA) “Pathway to Work for Homeless” and JMh / Love Anaheim are currently providing the staffing with City Net / CCRT doing the intake, vetting those experiencing Homelessness, and providing transportation.  There are also volunteers participating.  One of the benefits of utilizing BWA as staff is their lived experience and understanding of homelessness.
