Love Anaheim Serve Day #22 on Saturday, September 4, was a huge success!! 166+ Participants completed over 10 projects that involved 13 Partners. $24,596 in value was "given back" to the City of Anaheim - $8,100 in funding for projects (from grants, donors, and partners) and $16,496 in Volunteer value – 578 volunteer hours.
Volunteers assembled 2000 Care Bags for Anaheim City Employees, 800 Senior Care Bags, 100 Care Baskets and 400 Hygiene Bags. 39 Blood Donors came out to give blood and volunteers served 7 Seniors' Mobile Homes with yard work.
Our next City Wide Volunteer Serve Day - Love Anaheim #23 - will be on MONDAY, January 17 in partnership with Anaheim Union High School DIstrict's Servathon which is in cooperation with the Martin Luther King National Day of Service.
